Just goes to show you never know what goes on behind the curtain. I myself thought for sure that Obama was the sure win. So it concerns me that while people talk the talk, when push comes to shove, they can't cast the vote for Obama because they don't trust that everyone else will vote for him because of the race card and they don't want their vote to be exed out. I honestly think that is why he finished second. Alot of Dems seem to be so nervous about loosing the White House AGAIN that they are like deer caught in the headlights. It's certainly not because Hillary is the better candidate. As far as I'm concerned she's had too much time in DC, made too many deals and has rubbed too many people the wrong way. I do think however, that she would be an excellent ballbreaker. I believe that Obama is the only person, besides Richardson to give all the political dolts a run for the money and keep 'em guessing from one minute to the next.
PS...Wouldn't it be awesome if it turned out that 'W' had extensive holdings in a company that had a subsidiary that manufactured vibrators? HEE HEE...I'm going snooping on the "internets"

You don't ever know...that's the truth. Barack winning Iowa was huge in a state that is nearly as lily white as NH. Do you also think that the NH voters didn't want to be told how they were going to vote? To Hillary's credit, she did recover nicely from Iowa's disappointment, and Barack's swagger coming out of there may have been off-putting.

In the end, it will probably come down to who people think can win the general election. With the GOP race so wide open, how can one predict a matchup? 3 states, 3 winners. We'll see what SC does - that should be very interesting. And the word seems to be that Guiliani could win FL.

The economy is becoming more of a factor every day with all the bad news seemingly on the minute. But regardless, Hillary is so despised by the Republicans. Were she to win the nomination, they'd come after her like a crazed lynch mob. I think it would be more difficult to find Obama's achilles heel. With voters so eager for "change", who cares about "experience"?
